Siri isn't too objective
Recently, Apple fans were a little confused by the news that their beloved Siri had gone over to the dark side by?promoting a rival smartphone. Nokia and Microsoft fans were even more surprised by the unexpected support.
When asked what the best smartphone in the world was, Siri responded with: Nokia Lumia 900. As it is a "gal's" prerogative to change her mind, Siri has revised her attitude and has come up with a different answer.
However, Siri is now back to its loyal self - telling iPhone 4S users that the best smartphone in the world is the one they already own. This was the default answer the digital assistant was shipped with after the smartphone was released, last October.
Yet the question remains if Apple has figured out a way to prevent Siri from promoting a rival product. When the iPhone 4S was released, Apple explained that the company had no power over Siri's answers.
Now it appears that the company can censor the information provided by Siri. The matter is still in a grey area, as the digital assistant is supposed to provide information from Wolfram Alpha, based on online reviews.
